These chocolate-dipped protein dates have quickly become my favourite pick-me-up afternoon snack.

 

What I love most is how balanced they are. By adding WelleCo Nourishing Protein, you’re giving these a boost of protein. It’s a simple way to make sweets work smarter for your body without compromising on taste.

 

Here’s how to make them:

 

Ingredients:

  1. 1 tbsp almond butter

  2. 1 tbsp tahini

  3. 1 tsp cinnamon powder

  4. 2 tbsp WelleCo Nourishing Protein - Vanilla

  5. 180g dark chocolate

  6. 10 fresh medjool dates

  7. Sea salt flakes & rose petals (for decorating)

 

Method:

  1. Mix almond butter, tahini, cinnamon, WelleCo Nourishing Protein, and a splash of water in a bowl until smooth and creamy.

  2. Slice each date open lengthwise, remove the pit, and fill with the mixture.

  3. Melt the dark chocolate and dip each date until fully coated. Let the excess drip off and place on a baking paper-lined tray.

  4. Sprinkle with sea salt flakes and rose petals, then refrigerate for 20–30 minutes until the chocolate sets.

 

These are simple to make, packed with flavour, and a great option to keep in the fridge for up to a week—or freeze for later.
