Double Choc Banana Bread

A rich, nourishing twist on classic banana bread - made with almond flour, WelleCo chocolate protein, and chunks of 85% dark chocolate for a satisfying, better-for-you treat.

Ingredients:

Dry:

  • 3/4 cup almond flour  
  • 3/4 cup plain flour
  • 1/3 cup WelleCo Chocolate Nourishing Protein
  • 1/4 cup desiccated coconut
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 block 85% dark chocolate, chopped

Wet:

  • 3 overripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla 

Method:

  1.  Add all dry ingredients to a bowl (except dark chocolate block).  
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together wet ingredients.  
  3. Mix wet to dry.
  4. Add in chocolate block.
  5. Pour into lined loaf tin and bake for 45-50 mins on 180°C. 
  6. Allow to cool slightly in the tin, and then transfer to cooling rack. 
  7. Store in airtight container.
