The Beauty Edit
I have always said that when you’re well from within it shows on your skin. Beauty, to me, has never been about looking younger. It's about feeling more like yourself, trusting yourself, and ultimately being your unique self.
Beauty-through-Wellness has been at the heart of my philosophy for decades and for WelleCo since our inception in 2012.
I think somewhere along the way, in our industry, the beauty conversation became so focused on the exterior that we forgot about everything happening beneath the surface.
Our gut health. Our cellular energy. Our brain health. Our emotional, mental, and spiritual wellbeing. The way we nourish ourselves, soften into our hearts, be present, move, rest and respond to the world around us. All of these things contribute to how we feel, and ultimately, how we look and show up in this world. We are humans being, not humans doing.
For me it’s about foundations. Simplifying my routine, my products, the noise, focusing on true nourishment and remembering that beauty isn't something we create from the outside. It's something we nurture from within.
Of course, I still love discovering beautiful products, thoughtful formulations and people doing extraordinary things in the beauty and wellness space. I believe the best approach is one that honours both the inner and outer.
This month's Edit is a little of both.

My other skincare foundations. Banyan Botanicals - Lately I've been fascinated by Ayurveda and its understanding of beauty as an expression of balance within the body. So much so that I’m doing a course in the coming months! Rather than treating skin as something separate from the rest of us, this ancient Indian wellness tradition encourages us to consider the whole person—our constitution, daily routines, environment, and emotional wellbeing. Banyan Botanicals brings this philosophy into their skincare through beautiful botanical formulations inspired by Ayurvedic practices. I’m using the Glowing Face & Body Bundle because I love oils that nourish the skin, and the intention of slowing down to massage them into the body. For me, self-care is as much about the experience as the product itself. Taking a few moments to connect with your body, appreciate it and nurture it is a beautiful way to begin or end the day.
Sapienic - Sapienic's Prime Lipids caught my attention for its focus on the skin's natural lipid environment and the importance of supporting the skin barrier. This approach is less about correcting or fighting the skin and more about understanding what it needs to function well. As I've evolved my own beauty philosophy, I've become increasingly interested in supporting the skin's natural processes rather than overwhelming it with products and complicated routines. I begin with hydration and skincare: Sapienic’s Prime Serum and Oil which really aligns with mother nature. It contains a hyaluronic moisture boost that drives facial oils into the skin. It contains water-soluble actives including GABA, Hyaluronic Acid, probiotic lysates and prebiotics to boost moisture content, leaving skin feeling youthful and firm.

Angela Damman From her studio in the Yucatán, Angela Damman works closely with local communities to preserve and reimagine the region’s rich tradition of natural fibre craft. Using native materials, each chandelier is shaped by hand through a slow, highly tactile process that honours both the material and the hands behind it. The result is something beautifully elemental. Soft, sculptural forms that bring movement, texture and a sense of place into a room.

- My Makeup Essentials. I recently shared with SheerLuxe my current makeup on rotation: I’m very much a less-is-more woman. I like a dewy, tinted base or foundation stick, a little bronzer or creamy contour, and a natural lip tint. The aim is to look fresh, healthy and myself—not covered up. Gucci, the founder of Westman Atelier is a dear friend, and I just love her approach to minimal, luxurious, and effortless makeup, letting your natural features do the talking. For me, it’s about enhancing what’s already there, not masking it. I like to keep it super simple with the The Vital Skin Foundation Stick and the Baby Cheeks Blush Stick and the Squeeky Clean Liquid Lip Balm. It’s everything you need for that minimal no makeup look. Other Australian brands I love – Fluff’s refillable Cloud Compacts. These feel like little sculptures or grounding stones – no plastic, endlessly refillable and made from a cooling metal — they are so fun to play with. I use their Lip Oil in Tint and their Bronzing Powder in Golden. Tomorrow Today Beauty Hydration Hero Balm is an invisible serum stick that enhances elasticity and firmness while repairing skin damage and shielding against blue light exposure. It can be used across the lips, skin, and cuticles! It's key ingredient is SAKADIKIUM™, which is derived from the rhizome sugars of Hedychium coronarium, a plant native to Madagascar.

Palyani. I’ve mentioned it before but with the gifting season coming up I think it’s important to support smaller brands on my home soil. Australia's indigenous knowledge is among the oldest continuous healing traditions in the world. I love supporting brands like Palyani, whose Bush Medicine Balm celebrates native botanicals and honours this extraordinary wisdom of ages. It's one of those products that feels equally nurturing for the skin and the soul, and with only three natural ingredients, I trust its efficacy. I use it on my lips each day and as an all-over body moisturiser. It’s had wonderful reviews for all types of skin conditions too.

HRD//KLL Coffee - My dear friend Angie Green has created a new coffee business, HRD//KLL. She also sent me the Fellow Ode Brew Grinder, which has made preparing my morning coffee feel all that more simple and chic. I’m not normally a coffee drinker, and I believe that what we choose to consume matters, so coffee is no exception! Angie has approached something familiar with extraordinary attention to detail, considering everything from where the beans are grown to how they're roasted and tested. HRD//KLL uses single-origin, specialty-grade Arabica beans sourced from a certified organic farm in Central America, where regenerative agricultural practices are prioritised. The beans are then roasted in Texas, with each batch independently tested for mould, mycotoxins and pesticide residues. The brand is also Certified Glyphosate Residue Free, which reflects the care Angie has put into sourcing and quality. I love that she hasn't tried to reinvent coffee. She's simply questioned how it could be made more thoughtfully, with greater consideration for the people drinking it and the environment it comes from. This very much resonates with the standards we have at WelleCo, which we speak to in detail in our recent Docuseries.

As we approach the holidays, I've been thinking about how easy it is for our daily routines to become more complicated than they need to be. I believe the greatest investment we can make in ourselves is often the simplest: nourishing our bodies consistently, creating space for rest and giving ourselves the foundational support we need to feel our best. That's why I'm returning to WelleCo's 3 Steps Welle program. Three simple moments throughout the day. Three opportunities to nourish, support and reconnect with ourselves. No complicated routines, just a little more intention around the things we do every day.
1 MORNING / THE SUPER ELIXIR™
All-in-one super greens powder contains 45+ naturally derived ingredients to support all 11 systems of the body – from the immune and digestive systems to hair, skin and nail health.
2 AFTERNOON / NOURISHING PROTEIN
Organic, plant-based protein provides a powerful energy boost to support a clean, lean body. A delicious afternoon pick-me-up to balance blood sugar and fuel the body with the nutrients it needs to thrive.
3 NIGHT / THE EVENING ELIXIR
An antioxidant-rich, nourishing night cap for beauty and rest. A naturally sweetened infusion of magnesium, natural vitamin C (from superfruit Acerola) and niacin has been expertly curated to boost your skin’s collagen and deeply restore the skin from within.
I realise there's a common thread running through this month’s edit: the idea that beauty is something simple that only needs to be nurtured, not something to chase.
Whether it's supporting our skin's natural processes, choosing products made with sustainable ingredients, packaging, and care, or simply giving ourselves permission to feel comfortable in our own skin, I think beauty becomes so much more interesting when we stop trying to control it. I have found freedom in being focused on the now rather than worrying about the future.
Nourishing my body. Moving in ways that feel good. Getting enough rest. Spending time in nature. Connecting with the people I love. And finding joy in the little things that make everyday life feel beautiful.
I still love beautiful products, of course. And yet I am aware that no cream or treatment can replace the way you feel when you're truly well within.
When you feel well, you look well. And when you feel well, anything is possible.
With wellness, you can.
Love, Elle x
