I believe home isn't somewhere we simply ‘arrive’. It's something we nurture within ourselves.
When the home within feels peaceful, authentic, and connected, the home around us naturally begins to reflect it. Our surroundings become less about decoration and more about how we want to feel.
For me, home has always been a sanctuary. A place to return to myself. A place where I've celebrated life's greatest joys, moved through its deepest challenges, and gathered the people I love around me.
More than ever, I'm being drawn to natural materials, ancient wisdom, beautiful craftsmanship and rituals that slow life down. Objects that tell stories. Pieces made by hand. Things that remind us of our connection to nature and to something far greater than ourselves.
Because perhaps the most beautiful homes aren't the ones that look perfect—they're the ones that make us feel most at home within ourselves.

Pan After Baskets

I try to minimise clutter wherever I can. Beautiful woven baskets help create visual calm while bringing natural texture into a space. Hand-woven from local grasses by Zulu women in Zululand, KwaZulu-Natal, these tall lidded baskets were traditionally used to store herbs. Each is woven using natural dyeing techniques to create geometric patterns or simple line detailing, making every piece distinct.
The weavers work as part of a local co-operative, ensuring the skill of basketry continues to be passed down through generations while providing a reliable income for artisans in the region.
