Elle Is Back In Oz: Keeping It Simple & Sexy.

Our founder returns home for the launch of The Longevity Elixir at Chemist Warehouse.

Over the past few weeks, our founder Elle Macpherson has been back in Australia, reconnecting with our team and sharing her evolving philosophy on wellness, visiting one of our favourite Chemist Warehouse locations, and celebrating the official launch of The Longevity Elixir™ with the greater WelleCommunity.

It’s been early mornings, live news crossings, hair and makeup and outfit changes, meetings, panel discussions, content shoots and an intimate party. As Elle described it:

“A week activating my vision and mission for a Welle world.”

After years spent living abroad, returning to Australia always offers Elle an opportunity to reconnect not only with the place where WelleCo began, but with the ideas that continue to shape where our brand is going. This vision always comes back to something simple: our natural state is to be well.

Longevity is having its moment.

There is so much talk in the wellness industry right now: biological age, cellular health, metabolic health, muscle mass, cardiovascular function, NAD+, sleep optimisation…the list goes on, and there are more and more sophisticated ways to understand how our bodies change over time.

Elle spoke about how as a brand, we welcome these discussions as it pushes us to be curious about the evolution of industry, while respecting what we’ve always known to be true: the body’s foundational capacity to be well.

The development of The Longevity Elixir™ is WelleCo’s response to the current industry narrative of extending one’s life - whereas, as a counter, we believe that longevity is all about the life in your years.

“Present, joyful, strong, capable, and vital.” It’s these qualities that Elle says, determine fulfilment of life, and in turn, longevity.

What is another year worth if we don't have the vitality to participate in it?

To walk each morning. To participate in the day with ease. To travel in your 60s, 70s, 80s. To dance uninhibited. To think clearly. To learn something new. To connect with the people we love. To remain curious about the world.

For Elle, this is what longevity really represents.

“When you feel well, you look well, your energy is magnetic and everything is possible. Inevitable even.”

This philosophy came to life during an intimate evening hosted by Elle, in collaboration with our retailer partner, Chemist Warehouse.

Rather than hosting a traditional product launch, the evening explored a bigger question: What if wellness isn't something we need to constantly optimise, rather something we can learn to support?

Science has given us extraordinary insights into the human body. We understand more than ever about nutrition, movement, sleep, muscle, cognition and the biological processes associated with ageing. But in our pursuit of what's next, Elle believes we shouldn't overlook what's always been here. Nature.

“Nature is our greatest companion.”

The earth beneath our feet. Clean water. Morning sunlight. The breath moving through our bodies. Movement. Rest. Human touch. Community. Connection.

Many of the practices associated with living well are remarkably accessible. Some are ancient. Many are free.

They remind us that wellness doesn't always require adding another protocol to our lives. Sometimes it asks us to return to the fundamentals.

“Keep it simple and sexy. That’s my jam.” Elle told everyone.

The evening itself was created around exactly that idea. An evening reconnecting to all five senses: Sound. Sight. Smell. Taste. Touch.

Drinks and canapés took inspiration from WelleCo's award-winning elixirs, transforming familiar ingredients and flavours into something to be experienced slowly: delicious mocktails, gummies, and canape toppings, reminding us that food truly can be our medicine.

Taking place at The Lobby by Ellison Studios, guests were welcomed into what could only be likened to Elle’s own home, a stylish, inviting, beautifully lit and furnished space, framed by high ceilings, huge windows, and delicate details.

A live harpist set the tone for the night - this was an evening grounded in connection and conversation. And in a culture increasingly lived through screens and capturing every moment, this felt like a private, intimate gathering of close friends.

Hosted by Brodie Harper, Australian television presenter, the evening began with an intimate one-on-one conversation with Elle, exploring her evolving relationship with wellness, beauty, and the practices that have stayed with her across different stages of life; and the personal philosophy behind WelleCo and The Longevity Elixir™.

Brodie then led a panel bringing together four distinct perspectives on longevity: Elle; Bianca Wise, clinical naturopath, Pilates instructor and retreat host; Zoe Bingley-Pullin, nutritionist and author; and Emily Algar, RUSSH Beauty and Wellness Editor. Together, they explored longevity not as a protocol to perfect, but as a daily practice shaped by movement, nourishment, supplementation, consistency and connection to the body.

Together the women explored the idea that the most powerful longevity tools are already inside us; the body's own capacity to support, respond and heal; and that science's role is to support that capacity, not override it.

As part of the evening, guests were also invited to explore a variety of Elle's Favourites: objects, clothing, products, and Australian founders or brands that reflect the way she is thinking about wellness today.

These weren't simply beautiful objects. Together, they represented a philosophy, that the things we bring into our homes - and bodies - can reconnect us with ourselves, rather than distract us. That something made slowly and thoughtfully can encourage us to live a little more slowly and thoughtfully too.

Elle's evolving philosophy on longevity is really interesting: it isn't science or nature. It's science and nature.

We can understand NAD+ while still walking barefoot on the earth. We can supplement strategically while prioritising nutrient-dense food. We can study circadian biology while stepping outside to greet the morning sun. We can measure sleep while also recognising the importance of stillness.

We can formulate The Longevity Elixir™ using contemporary nutritional science while remembering that the fundamentals of human wellbeing have existed for thousands of years. One doesn't need to replace the other.

Longevity isn't simply a number on a biological-age test. It's being strong enough to participate. Present enough to notice. Curious enough to keep learning. Connected enough to belong. And well enough to continue saying yes to the years ahead.

For Elle, being back in Australia was ultimately about more than launching a new product. It was about returning to WelleCo's purpose.

“I’m so excited to share what we’ve explored together as a team, a company, and a community. It has been a true reminder of nature’s unlimited gifts, and our continued purpose: with wellness, you can.”
